Shade measures 14 1/2" wide. Fixture measures 38" long as pictured.

Adjustable medical examination lamp produced by the Burton Manufacturing Co. of Santa Monica, CA. Fixture retains a very nice original factory finish, blue in colorant a tags reading: MODEL 1795 115 VOLTS 50-60 Cycles 1.25 AMPS. Textured glass lens is original and free from any damage or repairs. Located inside the reflector is thick glass diffuser that is cylindrical in shape with a metal cap over the open end. The top of the glass cylinder is open and this is the area where the bulb resides once the cap is reinstalled. This cap is held in place by 3 spring loaded clips. Fixture retains the original wiring, socket, and toggle switch. The angle of the shade is adjusted via the handle shown on the right in image 2 and employs two ball joints connected by a rod. The original mount for this fixture is missing. You can see the original mounting hole in image 6. Is is a cylindrical hole measuring 3/4" in diameter. I have left this fixture as found, but can install new wiring at the buyer's request for no additional charge. Additional pictures and measurements available upon request.
